What this indicator means
The LBMA gold price — the price of a troy ounce set at auction twice a day, against which physical gold settles worldwide. Gold tends to rise when confidence in currencies falls or inflation expectations climb, so it is read alongside real interest rates.
If a licence is obtained the values appear automatically — the plumbing is in place, only the permission to show them is missing.
